Volumetric displays that render your ideas as millions of voxels: points of light in real, physical space. No glasses, no headsets, viewable from every angle.
Most screens are flat, and virtual reality isolates each viewer inside a headset. Our technology works differently: it renders your content as volumetric forms that occupy real physical space, so you can walk around them, view them from any angle, and gather around them with colleagues, customers, or students. Under the hood, our VLED platform performs real-time rasterisation, converting interactive 3D scenes into thousands of volume slices. A rotating, ultrafast spatial light modulation system then rebuilds that digitised geometry into tangible, physical copies of your scenes that exist in the real world.
From simple animations to advanced interactive applications, volumetric displays unlock new experiences across every industry. The use cases differ from field to field, but the value is the same: sharing digital imagery in an immediate, engaging way, conveying depth and form at a glance, and freeing people from the wearables true 3D usually demands.

Immersive exhibits and unforgettable visitor experiences that draw a crowd.

Games, storytelling and volumetric cinema in a brand-new medium.

Visualise complex datasets in true 3D, the way they actually exist.

Patient education and surgical planning with true spatial depth.

Design and animate characters, props and worlds, then drop them straight into a real-time game engine.

Plan, rehearse and brief around a shared 3D picture the whole team can see at once.

A hands-on way for students to explore complex 3D concepts together.

Review designs, inspect internal structure, and run simulations the whole team can gather around.

Import 3D models, add lighting, filters, sound and animation, and present volumetric scenes, no code required.

Keep your pipeline: bake Blender scenes into VoxelStudio and play them back in the volume.

Maximum fidelity and performance, rendered live to the volume with real-time lighting.

Rapid, cross-platform interactive experiences driven straight to the display in real time.

Drive the volume directly in C, C++ or C# with low-level voxel-submission primitives.
Both displays use swept-volume LED technology: a high-speed surface sweeps a 2D image through 3D space so fast that persistence of vision builds a true, walk-around voxel cloud.

Need something bigger, brighter or purpose-built? We design bespoke volumetric hardware around your project. We're looking for creative companies to push volumetric further: custom display configurations and bespoke software integrations delivered as a proof-of-concept project.
// Everything included: hardware, Voxel Studio software, Blender / Unreal / Unity plugins, SDK access, warranty and support. Specifications reflect typical operating parameters and may change. Contact us for a full datasheet.

Integrate volumetric rendering into your own software. The Voxel Photonics SDK ships with C, C++ and C# libraries, sample projects and documentation, alongside VoxelStudio and our Blender, Unreal and Unity plugins.
